Most of you say that opposites attract. It’s the way people think. They always think that though they might not think it’s a good fit it will work, but this isn’t the case at all. With the law of attraction, it is proven that we work better with those things that draw our attention.

The first one is the people in whom we encounter. Think of your best friend. They might dress like you. They might talk like you. They might be in the same club. The fact of the matter is that if they have something that is something we like, then we are attracted to them.

It helps you keep your eyes on the goals that you have set. When you are looking at those who are helping you to reach your goal then you will try to be near them more. However, if they look like they are keeping you from that then you won’t keep them around. There is proof yet again!

Even the things we excel at follow this law. Think of what you were good at in school. Think of the favorite classes. If you like to see how the brain works then you like psychology. If you like studying how people interact with their surroundings, you’re most likely to like sociology. If you like plants and nature then you are attracted to biology.

The last example we can give are the jobs we choose. We choose the jobs that entail the work that we like to do. Filing might be something for a secretary. Those who love blood might consider a job as a doctor or nurse. It’s just how it works.

So, when you say that opposites are better, you might want to rethink that. You like friends that have things in common. You want jobs that appeal to your taste. It only makes sense in most areas of your life that you like those that are the same as you.
