The Secret – The Law of Attraction

If you have recently been introduced to The Secret and The Law of Attraction you probably are looking for more about the concepts and some great tools to get started. I have been working with these tools for over 45 years, so I guess I am as good a place for you to get started as anywhere.

The first time I used the law of attraction to bring in a desired goal in my life I was 11 years old! Yep, just a little one.

Study

My 6th grade class in school was given a test to skip a grade. When I was not given the opportunity to skip a grade because of poor grades on the test, but many of my other classmates were, my ego was crushed. Hard to believe a 12 year old can have an ego, but I did.

The Royal Society

I went to my mother crying and crying. She said, “You can have great grades in school and do anything you want. I am going to teach you a wonderful tool to help you.” She had learned the tool from the secret order of the Rosicrucian’s, similar to the Masons or other metaphysic society.

This is what she taught me.

Stare at your eyes in a mirror until all you can see are your pupils. It helps to have a large mirror on a wall like in your bathroom for convenience and privacy.

When your gaze is steady start repeating to yourself out loud our desired goal. I repeated to myself over and over I was getting great grades in school, being recognized for being smart and achieving academic excellence.

Add to this pictures, like as if you are viewing a movie inside your mind, of yourself achieving your goal. I saw myself in a classroom raising my hand with the right answer, picking up the results to a test with a very high grade on it and getting honors over and over again.

Do this for a few minutes each day at least once attaching high emotions to each mind movie. It is optimal to do this for at least seven minutes and the same time every day. However, if you can only do two minutes every other day you will still see benefits.

Think of what you really, really want in life. Is it love, money, global recognition for your talents. This is one of the most important aspects to The Secret – the Law of Attraction.

Many people get caught up in goals which are not what they really want. They are just compensating for a feeling of insecurity by asking for materials things.

You can only materialize for so long. Finally, your subconscious steps in and says it is time for something deeper and more spiritually nourishing.

When this happens you will be forced to move on to more advanced Law of Attraction tools to manifest your joy as in The Secret. Believe me I know. I have gone from heaven to hell and back again using these tools.

As a child, I wanted to look good to others. I needed to service my ego. But as I matured my goals would not manifest as easily. I discovered how the soul and life purpose adds another dimension to The Secret and The Law of Attraction.
